Answer in detail:
DETAILED ANSWER FOR WHY DID THE COMPANY RECEIVE AN ORDER TO WITHHOLD INCOME FOR INDIANA ANNUAL SUPPORT FEE FOR OUR EMPLOYEES?

If your employee did not pay the annual support fee, pursuant to law, the State may send an administrative Order to Withold Income to collect same. The employer must withhold the ASF from the employee's wages. This amount is over and above the regular child support and is subject to the withholding limitations. The annual support fee can be taken out in payments if the fee and child support combined would exceed the maximum percentage allowed. If the ASF is paid in payments, the $2.00 fee is allowed per deduction until the ASF is paid in full.
