What does an employer do if the Bank returns a Web Site Transaction NOT PAID. DO NOT INITIATE ANOTHER PAYMENT ON THE SITE!!!!
Answer in detail:
DO NOT INITIATE ANOTHER PAYMENT ON THE SITE IF YOUR BANK RETURNS OUR DEBIT UNPAID!!!
Everytime you initiate a payment on the site, payments are issued to the custodial parents, even if we do not receive the money.
Our office isn't informed by the Bank that we didn't receive the money for 2 to 3 days after the money has already been released to the custodial parent.
When we are informed by the Bank we will send you a letter asking for payment to cover what we have already paid out to the custodial parent to be sent to us by check. We don't have the ability to debit your account again.
This is what the letter will say.
Dear Payroll:
We received notice regarding a failed transaction for a child support payment posted on Posting_Date for the total amount of $Amount. The bank notice cited REASON.
Please be advised that we need a check or money order from you as soon as possible to cover this failed transaction. Do not submit another payment through the website to cover this failed transaction. We have already forwarded the payment(s) to the custodial parent(s). A copy of the notification we received from the bank is attached for your records.
Please send the reimbursement payment to the following address, along with a copy of this notice. Do NOT send a list of your employees with your check. Do NOT send this check to the PO Box address of 6219 which is where regular payments are mailed to. Please make the check out to and mail to:
